Readers will notice that yes, we have another Katie! She said that when she was growing up that there were a zhamillion Katie's around her-- well that must be true because we have quite a few. We have a lot of Andy's as well, but not nearly as many.
So Katie-Brown Hair it is! :) We had a great time in the studio with Katie and her Mom Carol and I am sure that we will enjoy a wonderful relationship over the years.
It is just brutally hot today in St. Louis, I'm afraid the tires will flat melt off the car! Hope that everyone can find a way to stay cool until the weekend when the heat is supposed to break. That is very good news for our two weekend brides who have had their ears pressed to the tv set to hear the weather forecast.

CREAMY LEMON SHERBET | |
1 c. sugar 2 c. (1 pt.) Borden whipping cream 1/2 c. Realemon reconstituted lemon juice Few drops yellow food coloring In medium bowl, combine sugar and cream, stirring until dissolved. Stir in Realemon and food coloring. Pour into 8-inch square pan or directly into sherbet dishes. Freeze 3 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving. Return leftovers to freezer. Makes about 3 cups. |
I make this with fresh lemons (about 8 of them), and fresh heavy cream. I'm not a food coloring girl but adding it does give it a richer lemon color. Super simple, super fast, and great on a nasty hot day like today!
