Thinking Treats...

The August September issue of the newsletter will go out tomorrow to our brides, if you aren't on the mailing list and would like to receive one in .pdf please let us know and we will send one out via email.

In addition to the newsletter we're finalizing plans for the series of bridal shows coming up in the next month, August is probably the craziest show season in St. Louis and we will be attending several. It's always crazy at the booth and we leave unable to finish a sentence and so tired it's hard to even breath---- but we absolutely love meeting so many wonderful brides and grooms as well as their friends and families, we have a great time! Our show schedule is in the newsletter so you can make plans to stop by and visit with us.

Bobbi tells us that Prince and Hana returned from the groomer and look handsome/beautiful, and apparently they know it too! :) All of our clients always ask for new photos of the dogs so I've asked Bobbi to take some new photos, hopefully they'll be up in a couple of days.

There have been a number of brides recently who have called us about wedding day ice cream/custard at Ted Drewes. YES, this venerable St. Louis institution still provides their frozen delicacies to bridal parties free of charge. On any given Saturday you will find quite a few wedding parties stopping by, it is something they have grown up seeing and knew that they wanted to do that on their wedding day as well. Both locations offer free custard and it is lots of fun for everybody. We are pretty mean about vanilla only for the bride---- let's not tempt fate and get hot fudge on the gown, okay?????? Just know that you will attract lots of attention, but it is just another way to be the star on your day! Me? I don't stick to vanilla, I'm a Southern Delight or a Cardinal Sin girl, oh yeah! Bobbi always sticks to the Dutchman being the creature of habit that she is. Depending on what part of town you are on location in--- Fritz's near Valley Park is another good frozen treat location. No, they don't provide free treats to the bride and her minions you'll have to bring the debit card but it is very good. On a recent stop with a wedding party we can all heartily recommend the Birthday Cake Concrete, yum!

All things considered when you think about it---- it is a great day for ice cream, no matter where you stop! Make mine a large please!
